Good to know they are working to bringing back sanity to the Republican Party. I’ve missed these people. Please, we need a two party system that works together and compromises. We have far too many serious problems in this country and around the world to be in such disarray. Far too many to count.
Good post. One of the problems the center right faces in combating the populism of the MAGA wing is the large and growing income disparity in our so-called "free-enterprise" economic system. The center right is not going to attract the MAGA crowd or much of the left if their platform is to return to the "good old days" of Enrons and mortgage crashes, etc., that have left a significant segment of our citizens no longer able to own their homes or afford rent, while the rich gets richer. How does the new center right group propose to deal with that disparity?
